I once saw an art exhibit made of countless used paper coffee cups- it was intended to draw attention to this exact issue.<br /><br />I know so many people in my office who are conscientious about recycling and filling their resusable water bottle from the tap for drinking, yet they don't bother with bringing a reusable coffee mug. <br /><br />I think it's because they can't be bothered to deal with washing the coffee cup after each use. Few people drink black coffee, so any dairy product traces in the cup need to be washed out with detergent, etc, it's a hassle. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
